A Stanford University pathology professor said, "Aliens have been on Earth for a long time and are still here," and claims there are experts working on reverse engineering unknown crashed crafts.
Dr. Garry Nolan made the bold statements during last week's SALT iConnections conference in Manhattan during a session called, "The Pentagon, Extraterrestrial Intelligence and Crashed UFOs."
The host, Alex Klokus, said that's tough to believe and asked him to assign a probability to that statement that extraterrestrial life visited Earth.
"100 percent," Nolan responded.
"I think it's an advanced form of intelligence that using some kind of intermediaries," Nolan said. "It's not that they walk among us wearing a skin suit. You're going to put something there that I think of as an intelligence test."
He said it’s like the South American native tribes when they first saw the Spanish ships. They didn’t know what they were seeing but it was out of the ordinary.
They didn't know what they were seeing or who or what was coming, Nolan said.
"They're showing up and saying who amongst you are intelligent enough to realize what it is you're looking at … "Can you see what's in front of you for what it really is? Can you see the anomalous data point?"

Actually, Jenner had been dressing in drag for decades. Ask his first wife.
He started dressing in drag in public several years ago.
Either that or they are still eating their way through the first 100 they've encountered.
That looks more like YOUR logic than Dr. Nolan’s. See post #2 above (it may or may not apply to you).
Yes I know. And I also know that aliens exist. There are 30 million in the US alone. Zero from space though.
People don’t comprehend how hard interplanetary travel is. If they did they would be highly skeptical of extraterrestrials arriving just when the internet becomes a thing. . .
Is this guys middle name Mork ?
Some people cannot see beyond the "interplanetary travel" hypothesis.
No one thinks they necessarily traveled here from distant star systems anymore.
That is a strawman argument.
When there is a wolf at your front door, you don't dismiss it because wolves aren't indigenous to your neighborhood.
The point a lot of people are making is that there's something here. At this point, where it's from is beside the point.
Clever.;-)
Relevant info posted previously on another thread:
Many think UFOs either don’t exist or must be visitations by an advanced race of space travelers.
But there’s a better explanation.
Scientist and author Jacques Vallée says the facts do not support the “advanced race of space travelers” hypothesis:
1. unexplained close encounters are far more numerous than required for any physical survey of the earth;
2. the humanoid body structure of the alleged “aliens” is not likely to have originated on another planet and is not biologically adapted to space travel;
3. the reported behavior in thousands of abduction reports contradicts the hypothesis of genetic or scientific experimentation on humans by an advanced race;
4. the extension of the phenomenon throughout recorded human history demonstrates that UFOs are not a contemporary phenomenon; and
5. the apparent ability of UFOs to manipulate space and time suggests radically different and richer alternatives.
Vallée believes “the alleged extraterrestrials could be… multidimensional beyond space-time; thus they could coexist with humans, yet remain undetected.” Vallée sees many “commonalities between UFOs, … demons, angels, ghosts, cryptid sightings, and psychic phenomena.”
This same Jacques Vallée “served as the real-life model for Lacombe, the researcher portrayed by François Truffaut in Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. He also attempted to interest Spielberg in an alternative explanation for the phenomenon… Vallée said, “I argued with him that the subject was even more interesting if it wasn’t extraterrestrials. If it was real, physical, but not ET. So he said, ‘You’re probably right, but that’s not what the public is expecting — this is Hollywood and I want to give people something that’s close to what they expect.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques_Vallée
To me, it’s very interesting that thousands of years ago, Biblical divine revelation predicted, and explained the true reasons behind, future events including:
- an aerial catching away / mass disappearance of many humans from the earth
- massive deception of those who remain
- a charismatic world leader who eventually claims deity
- global government tyranny
- huge celestial and geophysical catastrophes
- supernaturally empowered humans working great deceptive wonders
- widespread visible manifestations of supernatural entities on the earth
See, for example, these Biblical prophecies:
1st Thessalonians 4:13-18
2nd Thessalonians 2:3-12
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, chapters 5-19. (Many of the strange prophecies in the book of Revelation are best understood in light of the prophecies in the Biblical book of Daniel the prophet.)
We still have Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
My guess is the current interest in aliens is a CIA psychological operation meant to distract us from other things.
That’s always a possibility.
Are you saying that Dr Nolan spoke at that symposium?
The problem with that comparison is that when the Spaniards developed the ability to build ships and navigate the seas, they were not the only ones, and they didn’t just do it once and then quit.
Likewise, if an extra terrestrial civilization had that technology long ago, why didn’t they keep coming in waves like the Spaniards - and if one advanced civilization could do it, why not others?
The point I’m making is that all the evidence, past and present, has a grainy 35mm smudgey camera lens quality to it. Every human has a camera now, and we have zero increased bandwidth artifacts.
Based on today's knowledge and technology.
However, I suspect that five hundred years from now we will have solved that problem.
Your a wise man.... :)
And you also are a wise man.. :)
