Don’t know the answer to your first question, but I am quite sure we taxpayers are paying for the USSS lodging.
Remember when the Clintons moved to Chappaqua? They had a building constructed/renovated to house their USSS detail. So we paid for their home improvement. And, on top of that, they are receiving a hefty monthly rental fee for those USSS quarters. Grifters know how to work it.
