I sure hope the bid is accepted...how can they not? Did the contractor say about how long the work will take?
I’m ready for all of this work (yours and ours) to be over and done with! I know you really are.
We have no timeline, just anxious for rebuild to start.
Things roll along very slowly, have to have patience.
They need to get a move on it as winter is coming and we don’t need frozen pipes as 1/3 of the insulation under home has been removed and needs replacement now.
We’d like the water heater closet fixed 1st and a new water heater installed but more flooring needs removed and rebuilt.
But the insulation is a must and don’t even know if it can be replaced until more flooring removed.
The contractor didn’t even know about having to take out more floor, hadn’t read the report that the demo guys put out, hmmmmm?
You’d of thunk that would be important in getting a proper estimate of the cost.
We went with this contractor because of the family connection with the demo company and were told they work closely together.
