I guess I’m not even clear what gossip is. I figure if I’m talking about something that happened to me personally with another person, then that’s not gossip but my experience. If I talk about somebody else’s interaction with another person, that could be gossip. But talking about people I don’t even know, I guess that would be gossip unless it’s about politicians, LOL.
I think you pretty much nailed what gossip is.
I’ve always considered that gossip could be harmful or hurtful.
