I agree, it looks bigger and more impressive with the same flooring. And isn’t laminate fairly waterproof? It’s at least a whole bunch better than real wood.

That was one of the reasons I went with the BRAND I did. It was guarenteed against water damage unless it was totally flooded and sat for days where the water could then soak down between the seams.
