That’s a good one judy, the Bee is good at sarcasm verging on reality. Sometimes Vice versa.
I’ve been trying to spend more time with the kittens. Especially ferdinand. He is always afraid and won’t come over even if all the other kittens are climbing on me. Apparently they think I am their entertainment, so I have to go in with kitten clothing. Old jeans and sweat-shirts. They don’t know how to retract their little claws so they are sticking like velcro.
That’s odd. The poor little guy.
I remember years ago one summer I was out in the yard on a warm sunny day. I heard a little squeaky cry of a small kitten. It was hiding in the garden and scared, but I had not seen any mother or siblings at all. I felt sorry for the poor little thing, but he was petrified and wouldn’t let me near him. Very vicious.
Now you may not believe this, but it’s true. I decided to lay down on the lawn about 20 feet away (we had no neighbors anywhere close, so I didn’t have to worry about someone calling 911 for me lol) and I started to meow. Ok, I know my sanity is now in question, if it wasn’t already lol.
CB, that little ball of fluff starting meowing back, so I kept talking to him. He came out, and slowly starting walking over. He only looked about 5 or 6 weeks old. So I meowed a few more times, trying to sound like a mother cat. Well, that little guy came running over and jumped up on me, cuddly and meowing and friendly as ever lol. I let him sit on me for a bit then I was able to move him off and go and get some food and water. That was it - we now had a cat lol. So cute he was....black and white as well!
