I just got a call from someone that said they understand i am for school choice, asked if I would leave a message for my TX rep.
So I did, although I do understand the difference between rural and urban areas. I just asked, if the public schools àre so great what’s the problem?
In rural areas there is no choice. So what then?

I've never mentioned anything about my condition to a doctor or nurse practitioner. I don't want it on my records. Meds are pushed way too often and they are mostly worse than the problem. I'm convinced if it was on my records several years back Humana wouldn't have paid for the very expensive Forteo (bone webbing injections). Forteo saved my life. You sound much worse than me. So sorry to hear this.

I'll have to add cats are also wonderful friends. They too have ESP and know ONE'S feelings. But then too, it could be their owners love toward them. Its a special heart bonding. Take care. You help a lot of people sharing your health knowledge in the sweet words you speak and write.

Several answers to a quick search on "cold fingers swelling":

Chilblains causes inflamed, swollen skin, which appears several hours after exposure to cold but not freezing air. Chilblains (CHILL-blayns) is a condition that causes inflamed swollen patches and blistering on the hands and feet. It's caused by exposure to damp air that's cold but not freezing.

Also: Cold weather can lead to swollen fingers due to vasoconstriction, where blood vessels narrow to conserve heat. This reduced blood flow to the fingers can cause swelling and discomfort. 

As well as: Symptoms of primary and secondary acrocyanosis may include:

    Blue or gray hands, feet, fingers or toes (most common).
    Blue or gray wrists, ankles, nipples, ears or nose (less common).
    Sweaty or clammy hands and feet.
    Swelling in your hands and feet.
    Slower blood flow.
    Lower skin temperature.

And don't forget: Raynaud's Syndrome

I just tossed it out for consideration. I understand not wanting a record of stuff. Actually, my condition, now that I know what it is, is not bad and it is quite treatable. When necessary I have received cycles of a very expensive medicine ($14,000 each with 4 infusions - thus $56,000 each time - in a cycle). The insurance picked it up w/o a fuss each time.

It went down to 24° here and will be in the mid 20’s low 30’s rest of the week.

We are running a heater in the laundry room, as well as leaving furnace on 68 at night, on the hopes that will keep pipes from freezing.

Yes, we were not surprised as our agent had told us that that Foremost, that insures manufactured homes, was cancelling people right and left for living in fire prone areas.

We got a four page letter explaining why we were being cancelled, said it had nothing to do with the recent claim but where we lived.

Threw away the papers on the side affects of the Forteo. Never read them. I figured if I didn't take them I'd be dead pretty soon and if I made it through I didn't want to always think my problem was tied to the injections. I was younger then.lol

I had the flu I believe close to 40 years ago. I've never taken a vax for flu or pneumonia and certainly not shingles (it has MSG) in it). I'd say my immune isn't nearly as serious is yours. I just feel so blessed to be walking and having no pain with flat feet and 4 inches shorter. You really have a writing gift.
