We attended a fund raiser, where he spoke. We had a pic taken...but, there were local politicians in the pic, too :- /

He is a joke. So far, the jokes on this great nation.
"Also under federal law, the joint session of Congress required by the 12th Amendment to count the electoral votes and declare the winners of the presidential election is held on January 6, 2021. That is when the Electoral Count Act becomes a factor. When the results from each state are announced, a member of the House and Senate can jointly object, in writing, to the election results from that state. The House and Senate then adjourn briefly to consider the objection; if both bodies agree to uphold the objection, the votes are excluded from the election results under the terms of the Electoral Count Act."
This is what I OBSERVED when I watched the WHOLE process. Someone got up and announced Biden for their state. Someone else got up and said "I object" Pence then asked if they had that in writing. Some said No! Other states that were objected to had it in writing BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE SIGNATURES REQUIRED.

It is ONE BIG MESS but like I said since it was NOT followed according to that law, I am NOT sure Pence had anyother choice but to go ahead and certify it.
I am glad I don’t live in a BIG city as it is very scary indeed.
Although for quite sometime (before Hamas & Israel) we were having drive by shootings almost everyday. That has calmed down at least for now.
I haven’t read the book, books are usually better than their movies.

I think I just recall The Reverend Pence saying beforehand that he had no intention of not certifying the election. I wondered how he knew that if they hadn’t done the count.
It sure is one big mess....and I can’t help but wonder why President Trump is so insistent that Pence was a coward if he actually DID follow the law and had no choice.
I avoid cities like the plague. I know cities are handy for lots of shopping and medical appointments, but how anyone can stand to live in a city boggles my mind. I think they’re very bad for mental health.
