Would Vivek Ramaswamy make a good VP choice for Trump?
Vivek Ramaswamy ^ | 8/29/23 | Vivek Ramaswamy

Total vanity, mods pull at your discretion, and yes I know about the video from 20 years ago, of Vivek asking Al Sharpton a question about experience.

Here are the 10 points Vivek said during his closing remarks in the GOP debate

1. God is real.

2. There are two genders.

3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.

4. Reverse racism is racism.

5. An open border is no border.

6. Parents determine the education of their children.

7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.

8. Capitalism lifts people up from poverty.

9. There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four.

10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history

I’m still evaluating him. Trump seems to like him. I’ve noticed that most of the attacks on him here come from desperate DeSantis supporters, many of whom also hate Trump. I was a DeSantis supporter before he announced he was running. I’ll never attack him the way his supporters here are attacking Ramaswamy. I’ve defended him against the Meatball slur. I like most of DeSantis’s positions and will vote for him if he gets the nomination, but he has a personality problem. I don’t think he can generate wide enough support to win the general election. I’ll vote for Trump if gets nominated and isn’t removed from the race, but I’m concerned that Trump has a ceiling of support that he can’t break through. Too many people hate him. Ramaswamy’s potential is still unknown. I think it’s possible that he can appeal to younger voters. I’m looking forward to seeing how his campaign plays out. He might make a good VP for Trump. I think he has a strong enough personality that he might be able to rein in some of Trump’s worst impulses. And no doubt Ramaswamy is the most intelligent person in the race.

I’m not voting for a guy whose people openly defecate in the streets.

GOP has 4 major factions - neo-cons(global supremacists), MAGA( America-first nationalists - champion of constitutional republic, Founding fathers, free-market capitalism and limited government), Xtian supremacists and White supremacists). They are always at odd with each other - and most of opposition to Vivek is coming from Xtian supremacists, neo-cons and white supremacists - and Democrats, for obvious reasons. That means Vivek will remain an also-ran figure. Best he can hope for is cabinet position if Trump somehow manages to stay out of jail and win in spite of fractured GOP base. Vivek is smart and best of GOP lot but ground realities in American politics will not favor him.

Both of them (Ramy and Tucker) make 50-100 times more in the private sector.

That’s the Indian blood in him. They tend to be overbearing and rude.

I never liked Pence. I always though he was a weak sister. What he did didn’t take guts. He claims it did. But he is wrong as usual. He has always been a coward who wraps his cowardice in his self righteous persona.

I am from Indiana and he was a lousy weak Governor, but people thought he was so holy.

The Governor before him, Mitch Daniels, who passed on the POTUS idea, was a RINO but he was smart and a really good Governor who went on to be top dog at Purdue University.

—> If Vivek did something illegal there would have been lawsuits and there aren’t any !

Here’s a pension fund suing Ramaswampy because he destroyed their funds by losing more than 95% of participants money.
