I mistakenly showed an episode of R&B to my granddaughters aged 9 & 7. Now every time we meet them at a restaurant it’s “can we watch R&B?” Much to the chagrin of their parents.
I saw an interview with the R&B creators several years ago. From what I recall, they were a husband and wife team that were script writers for television. They retired from television writing and wanted to make a satire cartoon series for all ages. They created R&B for a fun retirement gig.

This was one great show, and not just R&B. Fractured Fairytales was a laugh riot. I and my teenage buddies would often get together just to share the show. One time things got so raucous a neighbor called the police on us for too much noise.

My daughter grew up on the reruns. Still likes it today
