I don't really understand why such ideas are considered unimaginable, especially here on FR. Read history, especially the 20th century. All of these abuses of the will of the people have been practiced - many repeatedly.
I posted last week: We are in a social war - between the people who want to control their government and a government that wants to control its people. I mentioned an early manifestation of this elitist effort to seize control of the govt away from the people - when GW Bush came into the WH (2001) soon the MSM started running stories about how he was interfering with State Department foreign policy.
So wait! The elected leader of the govt should not interfere with how the govt is run... yet not one voice was raised in objection to such a radical idea - except in my house. In Obama's second term he began to implement this coup, dictating EOs that actually accomplished actions that he had assured us in his first term that he could not do because they are unconstitutional.
Now the 'Rat Party wants to unbalance the Senate and pack SCOTUS with more 'justices.' WHY? Do they want to strengthen our Constitutional form of government? NO! They want to overthrow it and establish a totalitarian dictatorship. Does the Congress pass a law making it mandatory to force electric vehicles on the populace by 2030? Of course not; Congressfolk are provable lying cowards. They also did not shut down oil drilling and the sunsetting of the use of fossil fuels.
Instead, Fearless Leader goes on the world stage and declares that the American people will have to suffer and sacrifice in order to reorganize society along more modern lines of priorities. Did Fearless Leader campaign on asking the American people to take on difficult sacrifices? 😂 HA! No! He tells them that it will be done whether they want it or not.
Just like the growth of tyranny, for example, in pre-WWII Germany, almost no one spoke out in opposition to radical ideas and so they grew and festered. The GOP has hardly even addressed these insufferable changes. Think about it.
This is a social (for now) war between the American people and their govt over who will control the future of this country. Like the 'Civil War' years, the outcome of this war will determine the future for a long time to come. Ironically, the 'government' is now represented by the same humanity hating political party that precipitated that civil war.
Mark Levin said recently that the Democrat Party has hated the founding of America and its founding principles from our earliest days. Yet they aggressively survive while their opponents, like the Whigs and the current Republican Party, retreat into dark corners and whimper or remain silent.
As always, it is up to the people. Dark times.
That is BS BTW. The Democrats of the 19th century were the Constitutional conservatives of their era and the Republicans the wild eyed liberals, many blood thirst abolishionists.

POLITICAL FRONT –
Rumors are flying that Special prosecutor Smith is getting close to the indictment of the GOP members of congress who assisted Trump in conspiring “to overturn the presidential election and overthrow the government.” By some counts up to 100 GOP members of congress could be indicted.
OBSERVATION - Should Smith attempt this level of political hackmanship, the stage will be set for serious pushback on multiple levels. This would clearly throw the US into communistic third world levels of turmoil and increase the already growing constitutional crisis that is brewing.
