The 2024 candidate, who joins other elite-educated Republicans in cosplaying as a truth-telling populist while offering no actual solutions to improve people’s material conditions, has reportedly used some of his millions of dollars to pay a Wikipedia editor to scrub his past.
Mediaite reports that Ramaswamy seems to have paid Wikipedia editor “Jhofferman,” to remove information from his page that he presumably thought would damage his candidacy in the Republican primary. A few days later, he announced his 2024 bid.
The editor scrubbed off information related to Ramaswamy receiving the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans in 2011, during his time as a Yale law student. Paul Soros is the older brother of billionaire democratic donor George Soros, who has been the subject of perennial antisemitic conspiracy theories peddled by the right. (The fellowship Ramaswamy received is dedicated to helping immigrants and children of immigrants pursue graduate school.)

George Soros ADMITTED in a 60-Minutes interview that not only did he work with the Nazis in implementing the Holocaust, but also that he felt no sense of guilt or remorse for his activities on the basis that if he hadn't done it, someone else would have. He stated that his time helping to strip Jews of their belongings and sending them off to the death camps was "when his character was made".
You must be a financial dunce to not understand how big the national debt already is, and how fast it is growing, and how big federal budget deficits are every year after year.

1) Average people cannot edit Wiki. I am on Wiki. They lie all the time, or ignore stuff, or won’t let me post important actual stuff about myself.
2) Having been a grad student, you take money from anyone and everyone. That does NOT mean you are beholden to them. I never got one request/demand from ANY source that ever gave me money, other than if it was for travel I used it for travel and not a hot tub.
3) So I can see him wanting to scrub this on both counts.
Why ask to scrub things that are true?
Because of context. Something can be true in fact and false in its context.
