There’s been a profound societal change, and the once-fringe fascist far left is now a dominating political force — they are the wealthy pseudo-elites of Washington, and after decades of tyrannical abuse, the backlash is here.
In recent weeks, two cultural works have emerged from two disparate sources, essentially saying the same thing: Two weeks ago, David Brooks of the ever-erudite The New York Times penned “What if We’re the Bad Guys Here?” in which he admitted the obvious (at least to everyone on the pro-freedom right). Then, Oliver Anthony exploded onto the scene with his “Ballad for the Real Forgotten Man” or, “Rich Men North of Richmond”. The song is a rhetorical broadside against unlimited government, the surveillance state, and the baddies of the self-styled political aristocracy that:

Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do,
What is interesting is that both are saying the same thing, one inadvertently, that we have a festering far-left controlling class that enriches itself at the expense of everyone else — as is the case with the top tier of every collectivist movement. While they profess to all manner of bovine soil enhancement in favor of equality or equity or whatever the buzzword is at the moment — like every other collectivist movement.
If you want to punish yourself by reading the screed from Mr. Brooks, you’ll find he admits that the upper crust of the far left always looks out for itself. In his commentary on the third set of Trump indictments, he predictably positions himself and his fellow socialists as the national heroes of his melodrama, bravely fighting the “monster” that is Trump and the forces of Trumpism:

The problem is they're incompetent. Looking out for themselves is normal human survival stuff. Instead they're protecting fiefdomes they shouldn't be heading. While their Yale grandfathers were intelligent enough to 'earn' their jobs, the 'very average' legacy offspring wear the pretense. Al Gore and John Kerry lived well on their father's coat tails. George Bush and Jeb the same - - and probably about 90% of DC. People running our newspapers are running the profession into the ground... press types heavy on 'children of 'elites' who got into the best journalism schools' = = can write - but lack insight that would make them worth reading.
Yep. And a not-so-surprising number of people will, doubling-down on their virtue signaling. The chasm between those who prefer to not wear masks and those who insist that they do will be even deeper than the first time around. All by design: the collectivists will don the cloak of righteousness, the ones on the ‘right’ side of history by ‘saving the planet’ with green mandates and ‘saving our democracy’ with masks and compulsory medical procedures. Why, you’d have to be some kind of idiotic sociopath to decline the invitation to go along with the program!

We do have a controlling class. Duh. But it is not inherently far left or far right. It is whatever enhances its power, money and control. Right now, that is a fascist tending-toward-totalitarian state (in some rhetoric it sounds far-left but Italian Fascism is a much better fit). But if hard communism works better for them, they will convince the NPC’s to vote communist.

They hated Trump before he ever took office. He was a threat to them because he wasn’t controlled by THEM. Trump had to answer to the American people, and they don’t care about our opinion. THEY wanted control, so they rigged the election of 2020 to prove that the people were not important, just tax slaves. Then they instituted law fare against him because he kept coming, and now represents an even bigger risk to them. Now, they are afraid that American People might join in and come after the Liberal Left and its failures. Songs like “Rich men north of Richmond” demonstrates a visceral anger, the kind that gets rich liberal people killed. To the left, if Trump was correct, then everything they have said was a lie and all the people were hurt by the liberals. They can’t apologize, make a new plan and move on, so they continue on with the attack.
Trump being right, being innocent of things like Russian collusion and persecuted for Joe Bribems crimes, while economic failure of the Bribem administration grows in their face is apparent. This shows that the Democrats don’t represent Truth, Justice, the well being of Americans. They are the Bad Guys, and they don’t want to accept that or question how they got there.
