I don’t know about being pummeled.
In north Orange County, the trees are barely moving and there is a light rain. I did feel the quake but it was minor here.
I’m curious about exactly where the storm is worst.
I'm more worried about landslides after the event than anything. And if earthquakes start popping off... that could be an indication of land about to slide. Ojai had a landslide just this past January after about an inch of rain, so this EQ makes me concerned. When I lived in Ventura County (over two decades ago now) there was a big hill in La Conchita that slid down and crushed a cluster of houses and killed a family there following some heavy El NiƱo rains.
