The propaganda line to deceive the public into still getting the  Covid vax, even though we know they all lied to us about the side effects and everything else, is to run down Fauci et. al. as liars and frauds, complain that they lied about the efficacy, but twist around and say the Covid 'vaccine' does work the way it was intended to, because for many years scientists have only been able to develop 'vaccines' that 'hold off the flu'  (you get sick but don't die.). This tactic allows them to 'wash their hands' and blend in with those hating the world-wide deception yelling, "Yeah! THEY LIED!!!!" and then slither back to say, "but the vax does work..."

To quote a very wise sage, "Ain't nobody got time for that!"

Cuban dictatorship’s doctor slave trade brought $5 billion in revenue in 2022

https://www.periodicocubano.com/cuba-ingresa-casi-5-000-millones-de-dolares-por-la-venta-de-servicios-medicos-en-2022/

Translated excerpt:

n 2019, the year prior to the pandemic, they generated a total of $5.382 billion in revenue from the sale of medical services. The export of professionals, including doctors, engineers, teachers, and military experts, remains one of the top three sectors contributing the highest amount of dollars, alongside remittances and tourism.

The total value of exported services in foreign trade in 2022 was $7,063,889,800 ($5,884,178,200 in 2021; $6,879,664,900 in 2020, and $9,867,141,200 in 2019). This means that over 69% of this figure corresponds to the export of labor.

However, this economy of services harms the availability of professionals in the domestic market. In fact, the ONEI itself acknowledged that from 2021 to 2022, the Public Health sector had lost over 31 thousand professionals, including 12,065 doctors, 7,414 nurses, 3,246 dentists, and 4,579 technicians.

This exodus of healthcare professionals occurs in a context of a medicine and resource crisis used in hospital care, which has serious consequences for the well-being of the Cuban people.

Exporting medical services is more profitable than sugar, nickel, and cocoa combined.

According to ONEI data, the sale of professional services is more than double the export of several commodities, such as mining products, cocoa, tobacco, and sugar, combined.

The 2022 Yearbook reflects foreign sales in the order of $26 million in agricultural products, $54 million in fishery-derived products, $61 million from the sugar industry, $230 million from the tobacco industry, and $961 million from mining. The aforementioned only adds up to $2.17 billion, a figure that contrasts with the nearly $5 billion from medical services.

A "Broken China" ping.

If you want on or off the ping list send me a FReepMail.

Things are getting so bad in the PRC I hardly know where to start. I will try to hit things I haven't covered before or have significantly changed.

1. Foreign nationals are staying away in droves. Have you ever heard the expression that "he couldn't draw a crowd with a Sheriff"? Well that's what it's like in the PRC these days. In 2020 there were about 215,000 foreign nationals working in Shanghai, accounting for about 23.7% of the national total. In July, well pre-floods, the Shanghai Home Trade show was practically deserted. About 1/3 of the space for booths that was filled in 2022, even with Covid, was unused. In 1Q, 2019 there were ~3.7 million inbound travelers to the PRC. This year it was ~50,000, a 98.5% drop. Roughly half of the PRC's tourist traffic so far this year has been from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao.

2. High-net-worth Chinese (net worth > $1M US) are scrambling to get out of the PRC with whatever they can get out with. In 2022 ~10.8K hign-net-worth individuals emigrated from the PRC. In 2023 it is expected to top 13.5K individuals. The wealthy don't flee when things are going good. Look at the out migration from NY & CA.

3. Direct US investment in the PRC for 2Q CY2023 was only $4.9B. This is down 76% from 1Q CY2023 and down 87% from 1Q CY2022. There is now a net OUT flow of direct investment from the PRC.

4. Major companies are leaving the PRC. Toshiba left the PRC for Vietnam, Sony moved to Thailand, Samsung, Adidas, and Nike moved to Vietnam, Phillips moved to somewhere in SE Asia. Canon, LinkedIn, & Yahon have left. Now even Foxconn, they make Apple phones, is preparing to leave the PRC.

5. The office vacancy rate in Beijing hit an all time high in 2Q CY 2023 of 18.3%. It's not likely to get any better in the next several years.

The CCP Politburo will do whatever they think they have to to hold onto power. Historical precedents won't matter much.

The PLAN will have a much tougher problem than the Kidō Butai. They do not have anywhere NEAR the Navy to take on the US Navy. While the PLAN may have more ships, the 11 US nuclear carriers have a greater displacement than their entire Navy. The US Navy as a whole displaces about 3.5 times that of the PLAN.

Whether the PLAN learned anything or not, the US and the US Navy learned the lessons of Pearl Harbor and we learned them well. Ship for ship, man for man, we are better equipped, trained, and led than the PLAN.

The US military has turned Stalin's comment on its head. "Sometimes quality has a quantity all its own."

> China is in a similar position to Imperial Japan prior to WWII. Will they learn from Japan’s failure?

No. But China is in no position to go to war.
