My dad was a 3rd degree Knight. He had the 4th degree Knights at his funeral. My son, 11 at the time, was impressed.
He must have been a very good man. The family of a 3rd Degree Knight can request an Honor Guard for a funeral, but attendance is optional given he was not a 4th Degree Knight.
