At the time of my NDE, I was a very left brained agnostic.

All that changed in an instant.

I was a university professor, teaching tax law and strategic management courses at a major university and owned a successful consulting practice at the time of the NDE.

I returned as a student and got a degree in psychology and then went on to study neuroscience and psychiatry. All this was to better understand what I was experiencing.

At the same time I studied the mystics of all religions.

While I grew up Lutheran, I was not really into it. Christianity and the Bible are where I found my strength to go through the changes in my consciousness.

I have a special affinity for Catholicism. Have several priests as friends and spent time at both Carmelite and Benedictine monasteries. I go there for deep self reflection and meditative prayer. The energy there is like a spiritual elevator.

My wife is an MD psychiatrist and on the faculty at a major medical school. That opened the door for me to continue research while being retired. Thus I stay active and current by attending Grand Rounds at the University Hospital. I love the stimulation of the academic environment.

For several years prior to Covid-19, several doctors would send me their idiopathic cases. I used my added perception to aid in medical problem solving. I’m like a walking MRI. Not just inside the body, but the soul contents.

I studied Jung as his writings helped me to understand what I was experiencing with my increased perception of human consciousness as physical. I do not agree with him on many topics, but highly respect him.

As we all exist in the same Christ Consciousness, we are all connected. I will send a special prayer with this comment that you might feel if you stop and close your eyes for a moment.

🙏🙏🙏

Yours is an amazing story and impressive as well, to be respected. Your level of education and experience shines through, and it’s commendable you desire to continue to help others. Very admirable. You have potential to be a great witness for Christ—I bet a lot of people look up to you.

It’s wonderful you went from agnostic to believing, and the way is also fascinating. If you are open to sharing, I’d love to hear more about your NDE. I’m sure others here are interested as well. The reason I ask is NDE is a gray area spiritually and wonder the source.

I’m also curious about your ability to physically see a soul. The reason is I’m wondering about the source of that ability, which I don’t doubt you have. I’d like to know more. By the way when I was younger I had special abilities, passed down through family, but when I was saved I discovered it was unholy divination. One even involved a psychologist who practiced successful muscle pulling through me. All those abilities are now renounced, no longer practiced. Instead God granted me the spiritual gift of discernment. I do see several red flags in the posts here. We are all works in progress—the only perfect man is Jesus and we exist to choose Him and strive to spiritually be like Him. I truly believe this whole thread is a divine opportunity.

Now the most important question of life in this world: Who do you say Jesus is? You’ve already stated you’re a sinner; Did you repent of your sins and ask Him to be your Savior?
