Keep in mind, these people were worshiping gold and silver earthly idols, not God. As they couldn’t comprehend God. Just of many here cannot comprehend God.

I challenge each person to write down their own description of God in their own words. Then I challenge them to write it again experientally rather than theoretically.

Just as there are many languages, each describing the same thing, there are many religions describing the same thing. Each of these religions are not describing earthly idols as Acts 17 does, so your comparison is a fallacy in logical argumentation.

If anything, you acting like the Pharisees in Acts 17 is directly comparable.

I said “to the unknown God”...starting with verse 16....when Paul went to Athens...

“16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. 17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there. 18 A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to debate with him. Some of them asked, “What is this babbler trying to say?” Others remarked, “He seems to be advocating foreign gods.” They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection. 19 Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting? 20 You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.” 21 (All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.)

22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! Verses 16 thru 34 speak most directly to your posts and speak against them! Verses 29 thru 31 speak with pointed specificity about Jesus who will judge the world, having been resurrected from the dead. Paul says that God has specifically narrowed “the window” and commanded that all should come to him thru Jesus Christ despite of his former “winking” at or “overlooking” their ignorance of those who groped for him in the eras before Jesus! There just isn’t any other way but the cross and the grave!
