I think about the story of Jonah and Nineveh. Jonah went (very reluctantly!) To Nineveh to deliver a prophecy of doom, but Nineveh repented and this averted the disaster.

We can see the path our nation is on, and the question is what will we do about it?

It’s not like God is just playing with us like chess pieces—we too have agency in the matter: we must become at the least prayer warriors in defense.
