Stunned bystanders caught the shocking moment a gang of at least 30 brazen thieves ransacked a Yves Saint Laurent store in an upscale California shopping center.
Videos posted online showed multiple people in dark clothes, hoods and masks running into and then quickly out of the store at the Americana at Brand shortly before 5pm Tuesday.
Glendale police said the thieves got away with about $300,000 worth of merchandise, after they overwhelmed the staff and took everything they could in less than a minute.
None of the thieves used any weapons in the brazen scheme, and no injuries were reported.
An investigation is ongoing, as California continues to deal with a spate of robberies after lawmakers lowered the punishment for thefts of merchandise under $950.
Footage from the robbery at the store shows a group of hooded and masked thieves running out of the shop with arms full of merchandise.
They sprinted through a walkway to the curb, where police said about 20 cars were waiting for them, and sped away in several directions.
One suspect seemed to have been stopped as he tried to flee by an Amazon delivery driver, who was seen tussling with the thief.
But somebody off-screen could be heard telling the delivery person to just let him go, saying it is 'not worth' getting struck by a fleeing vehicle.
