The kid told me “Maybe we learned about ounces in school, but it wasn’t something I’d need in the real world, so I didn’t pay attention.” Yet, here he is, slinging salads and beef in the “real world” and he doesn’t know anything about weights, units, or fractions.
I could imagine him on a farm selling grain to buyers. They’d eat him alive.
