Yep, she sure did. She’s another (along w/ Glen and others from the clique) that is denied entrance to the rrhof while disco acts and unknown “influential for their time” acts skate through.

Time to honor the people that actually played the songs. They’re talking about inducting the Monkees! Fine. They influenced a lot of kids and sold a shit-ton of records. First induct the people that recorded all their songs though.

You are correct. If you have a chance, there is a video of the Wrecking Crew and their incredible involvement in so many hit songs of the 60s and 70s. Carol came up with that intro bass line off the cuff.

A friend told me it was Glen Campbell playing a baritone guitar playing the 6 note intro s well as the “solo”.
