Yep, she sure did. She’s another (along w/ Glen and others from the clique) that is denied entrance to the rrhof while disco acts and unknown “influential for their time” acts skate through.
Time to honor the people that actually played the songs. They’re talking about inducting the Monkees! Fine. They influenced a lot of kids and sold a shit-ton of records. First induct the people that recorded all their songs though.
😂👍. I bet Carol’s and the other folks have the largest discography there is. The movie was awesome following those folks around. Carol played rhythm guitar on La Bamba. Crazy.
I'd like to suggest the Musician's Hall of Fame interviews on YouTube.
The HoF founder, Joe Chambers felt the writers and studio musicians had to be remembered and honored. So he led the building and presence of the Musician's Hall of Fame (not just for front men) located in Nashville.
Sadly, Joe died under a year ago. But his interviews live on.

“the Monkees”
The talent’s there but why call yourselves the Monkees?
Kaye et al aren’t in the hall of fame? I did not know that. I cannot believe it. If that institution had any credibility for me before it sure as hell doesn’t now. Wow!
That’s a travesty. The Grammys as like any other Music awards, or battle of the bands for that matter. It’s friends voting for friends
Nesmith and Tork played on a lot of the records and Dolenz has one of the best voices in Rock and Roll.
