Most people like to come to a quick conclusion, on many issues, then do combat to defend their conclusions.
The folks on Badlands Media are willing to entertain many possible scenarios, using available information and suppositions, and lay out those possibilities for the audience.
Since none of us know for sure what is going on, this is the best manner to examine our current situation.
This is comparable to passive tracking of an enemy fleet that is somewhere beyond the radar horizon, using only the enemy's radar emissions to guesstimate their possible locations and movements.
In our current situation, we don't know for sure who many of the good guys, bad guys, compromised/flipped guys, are; or what exactly is happening with any of the measures or counter-measures.

p.s. I *LOVE* it when the hosts on Defected or DevPowerHour argue. Speaks to the other points in your post. Helps me refine my arguments/thoughts. What is AMAZING is that unlike the MSM, the D/DPH hosts put forth good arguments on BOTH sides. They do not argue stupidly or solely from emotion.
