Portland doctor said a homeless man knocked her unconscious while walking in the city, and then she waited more than 20 minutes without a police response.
"I do not hold the police accountable for this at all — I hold our city accountable for defunding the police," Mary Costantino, a radiologist, told Fox News. "We don't have enough police force to protect our citizens, and we did this to ourselves."

Portland was a beautiful city at one time, now, its a scary place to live. This has been brought on by ourselves.
question: what’s a conservative?
answer: a leftist who’s been mugged.
When you and the other Portland citizen voted to elect traitorous leftists you voted to commit treason. You dug your own grave.
Who most likely went along with the Defund the Police movement just like all the other stupid women followers I read posts from on my local Facebook pages.
Women are much worse than men when it comes to wanting to be part of the group. Especially younger to middle aged women.
Who did you vote for, Mary?

Remeber that if you defend yourself, you will be arrested. Make sure any witnesses are on your side.

So was San Fran. Literally one of the most beautiful large cities in the world. Portland, OR was one of the most beautiful medium sized cities. Liberals ruined both of them. Just like they eventually ruin everything they are in control of.
What surprises me is that Boston is one of the most Liberal cities in the country. There are more college students in the Boston/Cambridge area by percentage than maybe any other major city in the USA. Yet, Boston did not have any major problems during the BLM protests or the Defund the Police movement.
Boston continues to be a generally safe city.
I’ve done business in Cambridge the last year and a half. A lot of liberals but no blacks or homeless. You can walk the streets at night and not (really) worry, even with no police around. They need some diversity. Govenor DeSantis?
Boston may be liberal, but they are also 72% White, 10% Hispanic, 8% Asian, 6% Black. Minneapolis...19% Black (3x Boston).
As far as Portland and Seattle, these are two areas that have historically been radical violent White populations, it’s not that they care about BLM, they just was aggressive activism going back to the radical earth first movement etc..
Costantino said seeing the deterioration of public safety in Portland “100%” changed her voting habits.
“I absolutely did not vote for Jo Ann Hardesty,” she said, referring to a previous city commissioner who supported defunding the police in 2020. In the governor’s election, she cast her vote for Republican Christine Drazan.

Did she?
Did the nation vote for BiteMe?
She will still vote Dem next election, or that his how her vote will be counted in Portland.
You Might want to rent an armored car.
Wow! A woman (in a liberal environment) with common sense finally!
I was in the heart of Cambridge on MA Ave two weeks ago for dinner. We walked down to JFK street to get gelato after dinner. It was right in between Harvard & MIT campuses.
They are a lot of Asians. Also a fair amount of Jewish kids. All those smart kids that go those schools. Not too many Blacks and Hispanics.
The most dangerous thing in Cambridge are the bike lanes right next to the sidewalk on MA Ave. That is because the electric bikes pass you by 1’ away going 30+ mph. I steeped off the sidewalk and almost got hit because you DO NOT HEAR them coming.
The Blacks and Hispanics in the Boston area tend to live in Mattapan, East Boston, Dorchester, Roxbury and Sommerville.
Boston and Cambridge are way too expensive for working class people to live in. Also, Boston is still one of the most segregated metro areas in the country. Until recently, the Irish lived in Southy. The Italians lived in the North End. The Asians lived in Chinatown. The white criminals lived in Charlestown(the Town). IF a Black or Hispanic person tried to move into Charlestown they were told to leave. They were not allowed to live there.
True, I remember when the Earth First radicals set fire to the Swanson sawmill in OR. Seneca also had a lot of problems with them in Eugene, OR.
Boston is one of the most racist cities in the country.
Don’t believe me?
Just ask black folks:

“Boston is still one of the most segregated metro areas in the country.”
Correct and good post.
There are fewer blacks in Boston than most cities to start with—and de facto segregation makes them almost invisible.
Massachusetts in general is as segregated as any state in the Union. The exurbs are whitopias.
