Just got in from my walk around the neighborhood just in time to read your walking shoes tip.
I do wear a good brand with a good arch supprort but I’ll keep your advise in mind when I go to buy a new pair of walking shoes.
As I walked, I learned from another neighbor that we are losing yet one more neighbor to cancer, that makes 2 in about a month.

I was trying to get my walk in until a neighbor stopped me to tell me about a very dear neighbor that is in the last stages of breast cancer.
She had come out to see if the ambulance was down at Nora’s house yet.
We have lived in this neighborhood over 25 years and many here have passed on as most homes were summer homes for retired or semi-retired people.
Some homes have passed on to the children of original owners, but most are sold and we do have younger people and a few children now.
Well, well, well, not surprised there.
Time to carry your own plastic straw or don’t use one at all.
