Here in Ukraine, the U.S. Department of Defense's Biological Threat Reduction Program works with the Ukrainian Government to consolidate and secure pathogens and toxins of security concern in Ukrainian government facilities, while allowing for peaceful research and vaccine development. We also work with our Ukrainian partners to ensure Ukraine can detect and report outbreaks caused by dangerous pathogens before they pose security or stability threats.
Our joint efforts help to ensure that dangerous pathogens do not fall into the wrong hands. We're proud to partner with the Ministry of Health, State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and the Ministry of Defense to make us all safer.

I interpret this as “We have taken control of the Ukraine's government bio-weapons labs and directing and funding bio-weapons research with US money and US management.” They publicly admitted to funding and working in Ukrainian government bio-weapons labs. All for safety on for the children of course.
This was the first step in the path to entirely taking over the government of the Ukraine and funding the entirety of their government payroll.
Just like the US takes captured foreigners to Turkey for extreme torture and murder for plausible deniability, the U.S. intelligence agencies and military performs Mengele-esque medical experiments in other countries to avoid U.S. laws and government oversight.
YOU INTERPRET the statement to mean the US Embassy was talking about bio WEAPONS labs; when, in fact, the statement just said the program was to consolidate and secure pathogens and toxins of security concern while allowing for peaceful research and vaccine development.
That happens all over the globe, and pretty much every country does that. Hell, the governments of those countries would be criminally negligent if they didn’t. How the hell can you develop a vaccine if you can’t study the bug itself? How the hell do you think the polio vaccine was developed? Of flu vaccines?
“This was the first step in the path to entirely taking over the government of the Ukraine and funding the entirety of their government payroll.”
Prove it.
Your stance seems to be that there are zero clandestine US bio weapons labs.
You are much more trusting of the current controlling US military and political structures than am I.
This thread may be off the mark but at least someone is having a go at investigative journalism. The media that used to perform such duties are now little more than propaganda script readers and cheerleaders.
You are trying to distract from the content of this thread. Russia says biowarfare labs are there, the UN/NATO/US/CNN/NPR Et al. say that the assertions are ‘baseless’ and ‘have no evidence’ and then as a FReeper just posted, there is evidence of US funded research labs dealing with dangerous pathogens. You didn’t expect the US to ADMIT they were conducting bio warfare right? Because those labs are secure facilities admitting only Ukrainian and US officials. The TWitter source has successfully pointed to these labs and I am investigating to see what else there is about them.
‘Peer reviewed’ when the UN won’t even investigate? Who would gain access to get the documentation and who peer reviews requests to the UN? You’re just making it up as you go along, and wasting our time.
Vicki, that you?
“but, weapons labs involving elements which we have ourselves condemned? Present the evidence.”
The United States condemned cluster bombs and then gave them to the Ukraine.
Really, you’re defending the Biden regime’s ethics with your complaints that we wouldn’t present a national security risk or do something we said we were against.
The article I posted in the thread describes dangerous pathogens, not performance enhancing stimulants.

Link, please.
“Your stance seems to be that there are zero clandestine US bio weapons labs.”
No; that is just you jumping to conclusions. I’m sure we do have some; but not in Ukraine. Which, of course, is the claim being made by so many of the pro-Russia FReepers here.
“You are much more trusting of the current controlling US military and political structures than am I.”
No, I’m not. But if you are going to condemn the US you better have some damn good proof.
“This thread may be off the mark but at least someone is having a go at investigative journalism. The media that used to perform such duties are now little more than propaganda script readers and cheerleaders.”
That is true. But investigative journalists better have some good, credible evidence and not rely on speculation and “what-ifs” and in the end present specious premises; or else, they are just blowing smoke and are in it just for the byline and maybe some coin.

I don't believe they are lying when they request the UN investigate the US biolabs in the United States. After all the crime the deep state houses in the Ukraine, the bio warfare angle 'makes sense' because they can park them on Putins border and release pathogens 'silently.'- The US would put biological weapons labs in the one country most likely to be invaded by Russia.
The United States has funded 71% of the war in the Ukraine (excluding black ops money and the 10% for the Big guy illicit Biden funding) and says it will continue to do so as our southern borders are over run and food production collapses, and Biden drains the US of weapons.
NATO/US expected to force a regime change in Russia so they weren't really worried about what Russia would do.- Ukraine has more BSL 4 laboratories than rest of the world combined.
And is one of the most corrupt regions in the world, according to President Trump. Apparently all those labs are located in an area you claim is the "the one country most likely to be invaded by Russia." You're confusing your excuses.- The 30 year old Biological Threat Reduction Program is a figment of Congress's imagination.
Our nation has black ops all over the world that Congress knows nothing about. But, the threat reduction program is real and Congress knows about it.

Willful ignorance is true knowledge.
I think you need a new motto. Then this makes perfect sense.
Your posts seldom make sense. They make innuendos and distortions.
“You are trying to distract from the content of this
thread.”
Au contraire. I am jumping into the very heart of the thread: The self-serving claim in some Russian vanity blog that the US is operating a biological weapons program in Ukraine. And, what’s more, that the US has injected Ukrainian troops with “...psychotropic drugs, which are aimed at increasing both their aggressiveness and inhuman cruelty...which is directed against...women, children and prisoners of war.” She goes on to say that the US is injecting these troops in order to create unhuman “monsters.”
She goes from claiming the US is operating bio-weapons labs in Ukraine to claiming the US is intentionally injecting Ukrainian troops with drugs that will make them rape and torture and kill women, children, and POWs! What; did she forget the slander of the US ordering the bayonetting of little babies? Of putting newborns in ovens?
Her screed is typical of Russian propaganda. And you seem to lend it credence.
“’Peer reviewed’ when the UN won’t even investigate?”
So, are you saying that there cannot be any peer reviews if the UN is not investigating? Because that is what your statement is implying.
“The TWitter source has successfully pointed to these labs...”
No, she has not; she has just made a claim, and one that she has not substantiated with any credible evidence (and her hyperbole about manmade monsters ruining the virtues of unidentified women, and abusing children, and torturing and killing not only the lot of them, but POWS, as well.
“...and I am investigating to see what else there is about them.”
Good; you do that. Let us know what actual evidence you come up with. You may even get a Pulitzer.
“’Peer reviewed’ when the UN won’t even investigate?”
So, are you saying that there cannot be any peer reviews if the UN is not investigating? Because that is what your statement is implying.
“Who would gain access to get the documentation and who peer reviews requests to the UN?”
Well, Russia is making the claim, so it should be up to Russia to get the documentation to support its claim. And I don’t think you quite understand what a peer review is:
It is a review of an expert’s work or scholarship by his or her peers (i.e., other experts in the same field or discipline).
“You’re just making it up as you go along...”
No, I’m pushing back on wild claims and hysterical hyperbole.
“...and wasting our time.”
Which means you can’t support your position, and are taking to the hills. That is not surprising, given that your argument all along has been somewhat shy of coherent.
“Discounting the word labs, cluster munitions were certainly condemned by just about everyone...”
But, interestingly enough, not by Russia; which has used them against Ukraine since at least March, 2022.
“- but then the US supplied them to the Ukraine war stocks when it suited our purpose.”
We were fazing them out.
I just identified the source of the petition to the UN as Russian, since the petition is not available anywhere else. I’ve read the UN content on and off over the years and have never seen a ‘peer review’ and in this case, one is impossible because only content supporting NATO/US claims will be considered and the rest subverted in a media blackout.
I also posted as ‘ASSERTION’ some Twitter content and for this I’m supposed to spend all day dealing with your waste-of-time ‘input’ like ‘Twitter?’ This you describe as ‘hysterical screed’.
It looks like you’re saying if I find your content and self-serving distortions is a waste of my time, I’m still expected to spend my time repeatedly refuting you until you get tired? If I don’t wait until you get tired and instead choose to do something of value instead, after I already achieved my objective by posting content for FReepers to consider, then you say it means I’m ‘taking to the hills’? I just don’t ‘babysit’ your kind, okay? I welcome all readers of the thread to spend as much or as little time on it as they wish.
“The United States condemned cluster bombs and then gave them to the Ukraine.”
Give provide us with the cite for the US’s condemnation of the use of cluster munitions.
“Really, you’re defending the Biden regime’s ethics with your complaints that we wouldn’t present a national security risk or do something we said we were against.”
You resort to the typical leftist playbook of assuming facts not in evidence and jumping to conclusions; which is a sure sign that you have no argument. Moreover, your comment doesn’t even make sense.
You conclude — wrongly — that I am somehow “...defending the Biden regime’s ethics” by “complaining” that “we (and I assume by ‘we’ that you mean the US; but correct me if I’m wrong) would not “present a national security risk” or renege on a previously stated position.
“The article I posted in the thread describes dangerous pathogens, not performance enhancing stimulants.”
Then you didn’t even read your own source article. That is beyond sloppy, kid; it is inexcusable for someone who is trying to make an argument based on that article.
Give it up, kid.
Vlad, that you?
Ah, you’ve lost.
I challenged your position and that gave you the fantods, because your position was — from the very start — untenable.
He seems to FEAR a UN investigation. One has to wonder why? I mean, if he’s right and our work in those labs are as pure as the wind-driven snow, then Russia would look like IDIOTS...seems to me that would make him even happier.
“Discounting the word labs, cluster munitions were certainly condemned by just about everyone - but then the US supplied them to the Ukraine war stocks when it suited our purpose.”
We also stated early in war that cluster munitions, if used by Russia may be a war crime. I guess not so much if used by Ukraine, after all, they’re only killing Russians. Right?
