If I had a trailer or mobile home, I’d consider selling the house at the inflated value and then sitting on the cash until the right moment. But I don’t.
I do. I’m still renovating it. Next week the kitchen and flooring will get finished. Plumbing is 3/4 done, I just need the counters installed so my plumber friend can finish the fixtures in the shower, bathroom and kitchen sink. After that me and a friend will move outside, pull off all the sheet metal sheathing and replace it all with plywood and Tyvek over it. After that I’ll get cedar log cabin siding transforming a mobile home into a log cabin. Porch will be added to the back. If I sell this on the 31 acre property I could probably get $350-400,000 for it. I made $100,000 equity on this property in two years. And that’s without the home upgrades I’ve done.
