A Ford salesman I know grumbled that to get 100 F150’s his dealership had to agree to take 20 electric Mach-e’s. He said there was no market for the Mach-e’s. They couldn’t give them away.

About the time your grandmother decides something is “cool” think Facebook, the rest of the world moves away from it. In this case the stand-in for grandma is the government.

The dealers have nobody but themselves to blame.

For a variety of reasons.

They knew this was coming and were bought off by Made to Order.

Dealers, you should have brought a longer spoon.

Reminds me of the old movie studio block booking system. If a movie theater wanted to show a studio’s first rate film, they had to agree to take and show a bunch of the studio’s films of lesser quality. This was done away with by the Supreme Court in 1948.
