No way. There was a “contract” out on him and assassins got him some where in present day Saudi Arabia - the far temple. There was no Islamic temple in today’s Israel at that time.
To get to Israel then would have been a horse back ride lasting weeks to a month. Assuming robbers didn’t get you along the way.
