On Thursday, Stanford Law School Dean Jenny Martinez announced that its embattled associate dean for “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI), Tirien Steinbach, has resigned. Steinbach’s all but assuredly forced “resignation” followed an outpouring of disgust from Americans revolted by her disgraceful antics during the Stanford Federalist Society student chapter’s attempted hosting in March of a speech by U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit Judge Kyle Duncan, which was constantly disrupted by outlandish student behavior and ultimately canceled. Steinbach’s resignation represents a modicum of justice following a grievous wrong. Now, Steinbach will have plenty of time to mull over whether the “juice” of her abetting an obstreperous law school student woke mob was worth the “squeeze” of her eventual dismissal.
Steinbach’s overdue “resignation” is the latest domino to fall in a rapid succession of righteous pushbacks against the roving academic and corporate diversitycrat commissars who collectively comprise America’s DEI regime. Perhaps not coincidentally, these dominoes have all fallen after last month’s landmark vindication of constitutional colorblindness, and defeat for race-conscious affirmative action programs, in the consolidated U.S. Supreme Court cases of Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v. Harvard College and SFFA v. University of North Carolina. Following the demise of affirmative action at the Court, the next goal for proponents of colorblindness and foes of racial determinism is clear: Slay the DEI Leviathan.
Last Thursday, a coalition of 13 Republican state attorneys general, led by Kansas’ Kris Kobach and Tennessee’s Jonathan Skrmetti, sent a letter to the CEOs of all Fortune 100 companies “to remind (them) of (their) obligations as … employer(s) under federal and state law to refrain from discriminating on the basis of race, whether under the label of ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ or otherwise.”

I have heard that many companies are not happy with the negative impacts of DEI on their customers and employees and are getting rid of the programs. Dealing with company ESG scoring should be dealt with first.
All this crap needs to go. Sink or swim.

United Airlines is only major U.S. airline to own flight school: United Aviate Academy
United Aviate Academy plans to train 5,000 new pilots by 2030 - at least 50% women or people of color
United is not doing it because they have to, but because they want to. Enjoy your flight.
When it comes to poking the leftist bear I wouldn’t pick on minorities. I’d start with the enviro-nazis. Their button gets pushed easier and their ideas/policies have a direct on black unemployment on issues they don’t care about. Do you think they really care about global warming or pipeline/coal policies that put blacks out of work?
Yah, skip the obvious racist BS called DEI. It will be killed off.
A simple ruling that a company’s political beliefs and actions may not be used in any way by any investing organization. That will kill ESG.
Like saying that an insurance company may not consider skin tone. Yeah, they can consider the neighborhood where the person lives. But, not their color.
So, in similar manner no rating agency may propose or use political activity BY THE COMPANY (which is taxed like an individual) to influence their recommendations on investment status. The IRS could do this.
“On Thursday, Stanford Law School Dean Jenny Martinez announced that its embattled associate dean for “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI), Tirien Steinbach, has resigned. “
But have they eliminated the office of “dean for “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI)”?
If not, nothing much will change. They’ll just replace her with someone just as woke, but a bit more circumspect.
The problem is not so much a particular person, but that these “offices” have become institutionalized everywhere - in schools, corporations, government agencies, organizations...
Until they are erased from the organization charts wokeism will be alive and well.
Gee, nothing gives me confidence like having an affirmative action pilot flying the plane.

"Fo' Shizzle!"
Well Denzel Washington did save those passengers in "Flight", so there is that.
