I don't see a pure play on this one. That is, there is not one single best way to profit here and lots of small ways to profit.

Unfortunately, the risk of any investments outside the US is very high. There are many more ways to lose your shirt than there are to gain a golden jacket.

Right now the best safe/profitable bet I see is to bet on the re-industrialization of the United States. If I were going to pick a state to invest in it would be Texas. If I were picking a sector to stay AWAY from it would be tech start-ups, unless you are intimately familiar with the company, the tech, and the management.
