You must be really, really petite.

I had this male friend (homosexual, maybe it doesn’t matter, but this is about fashion) who assumed I must have a hard time getting shoes because I am small.

I had complained about not finding this particular pair of shoes I wanted in my size, and he assumed I must take a very unusual size.

Nope, I told him. I sometimes can’t find shoes because I am a size 7 and they sell out because so many people are the same size.

I had to take off a shoe and show him before he would believe me.

If anything, my feet are a little large. One would think I would be a 6 given the rest of me.
