We could be shooting them as the attempt to illegally invade the US. However they are welcomed, if they enter the US illegally, they should be deported immediately, barred from ever re-entering the US. Zero tolerance is only solution.
Find out who the trooper is.
Have him testify in front of the AG or DA and prove what he/she is saying.
When it’s proven to be false, fire the trooper and make sure they never work in public safety, anywhere in Texas, ever again. If some other department, somewhere else in the country wants to hire them, let them, and if/when something happens, let them be the recipient of the ‘wrongful hiring lawsuit’.

The primary mission of the border patrol is to keep the border secure, however if the policy really is as described (and its not a hoax or distortion) still I think when its reasonably practical they should also protect human lives even of those violating our laws. There is a line of inhumanity that can be crossed...although I am still a bit skeptical since the whole phony horse whipping story that got pushed a while back.

The easiest way to stop them is to lean on Mexico to stop these groups at their southernmost border. It wouldn’t be the first time it’s been done and was very effective. Couple that with finishing the border wall and allowing the Border Patrol to actually do their job.

We have a second-hand account of an email we don’t get to read, supposedly from a single anonymous Texas State Trooper. None of the other 2800 Troopers talked about this insane email to anyone? Really? And we’re seriously supposed to believe this laughable bull💩? 🤦♂️
I don’t see how anyone can be cut by razor wire unless they’re trying to get through it. If they don’t touch it, they don’t get cut, simple as that. Razor wire won’t come to life and chase after them.
Could wish it were true. It would mean that SOMEONE is finally doing their duty along the border.
But this story has a smell of John Kerry Heinz all over it.
