Someone tell the stupid inbred Brit that it’s a cool day in July if that’s in Phoenix. Usually like 110-115 this part of July. Maybe 120. Pretty normal. Monsoon will be startin’ up soon.

Got off a greyhound bus in Phoenix
at 12;00 midnight, in 1974. It was 112.
But this in the middle of town. Lots
of heat soaking asphalt and concrete.
A/C thermostats in the depot were set
at 78. Felt like an icebox inside.
That’s extreme heat for sure, no doubt about it.
Here on The Jersey Shore it was 92 at around 1pm and the humidity was some where in the 80’s.
Humidity is a killer. It’s like wearing a wool blanket in a steam bath.
I remember an old OLD joke about a miner in the 1880s Phoenix who died and went to hell. He begged the Devil to allow him to return to Phoenix to get his blankets as hell was just too cold for him.
