The region's unemployment rate is still lower than the state at 4.8 percent and the nation at 3.6 percent. According to the report, San Mateo County holds the lowest unemployment rate in California, and Santa Clara County is tied with Orange County for the fourth-lowest unemployment rate among California counties. "

rn: What's really sick about these statistics is that the unemployment rate is so much higher than stated, but once you expend all you unemployment funds you drop off the unemployment statics. I can't image what the real percentage is. :(
