I know many elderly people who live alone. Either myself or my wife will eventually join those ranks, depending on which one of us goes first.
There was a time when it was common for the elderly to move into a household of one of their grown children, or another relative, when they became single. But that seems to be seldom the case in these days.
If it were to be me, I would never consider moving in with one of my grown children. I would always want to live independently, without being a burden on others.
This is an interesting subject.

How many horrible white women refuse to have children?

I'm 79 and living independently. Fortunately in good health so far but I know my tough days are coming.
The burden thing has always bothered me.
I want my children to get as much out of life as they can...Life is hard enough.
I'll just keep a watchful eye.

Same here. Either Mr. GG2 or I will eventually live alone.

If the grandparents help with bringing up the kids, while both parents are working, that’s certainly not a “burden”.
