Andrew Jackson lost all respect with “The Removal”....
No one has mentioned the “Father of the Constitution”, James Madison. In addition to many of the names already listed, he ranks among the greatest Americans.

I’m partial to John Leland of Virginia. He cut a deal with Madison that most likely led to us NOT having a “state church”.
