A woman with 800 tattoos says she’s struggling to find gainful employment because bosses cast judgment on her inked-up appearance.
Melissa Sloan, 46, who hails from Wales in the United Kingdom, previously had a job cleaning toilets but says she hasn’t been able to find a similar gig because of the art that adorns her face and body.
“I can’t get a job,” Sloan bluntly told the Daily Star. “I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, and they won’t have me because of my tattoos. “People have said I have never had a job in my life, but I have had one once and it didn’t last long,” the mother-of-two added. “If someone offered me a job tomorrow, I would go and work – I would take that offer.”

The worst is when you see a woman with pretty legs and has a serpent tattoo from ass to ankle.
I think they get all those tattoos on purpose, just so they can get attention and whine about how tough life is for them.
Obsessive compulsive....she might be good at cleaning toilets.
I’m a landlord at the lower end of the spectrum. Over the years I’ve noticed several patterns about the people I have to evict. one is, the more tattoos the renter has, the nastier the house and the eviction process will be. I haven’t had any renters with face tats yet. But I have seen a few at Walmart so I suspect they are going more mainstream.
Is she going for a remake of Prison Break?
Maybe so, but the book doesn't make the decisions over it's own cover's design. This woman is more than free to do what she want's to do with her body. I would never hire her for a job. And I do the hiring for my company.

An entire generation of beautiful Gen-Z women have ruined themselves with their over-the-top tattoos.
I'm Gen-X and I didn't mind the discrete ankle tat or tramp stamp but the young women these days with their full sleeves of skulls... They look like 18th century pirates.
I have a facial deformity and can’t get any decent job. I however didn’t put myself into Zugzwang, it was just bad luck.
1) Has she tried the circus?
2) It's sad, really. Underneath all that ink, she was pretty darn sub-average looking ... the tats make her freakishly ugly.
All that is left is to pray for her salvation.

It might be the tattoos. And it might be that you have severe social, mental and emotional issues that caused you to disfigure yourself in that hideous manner.
She was so traumatized when young that she’s trying to erase who she is.
It’s not the tats, lady. It’s that your mental stability is called into question.
