Went to one music concert in my life.
It was to see Kenny Rogers in 1985 at Mrs. exit82’s request.
Paul Anka was the open.
During the show, Kenny started “Islands in the Stream”, and Dolly Parton walked out to sing the duet with him.
She wasn’t on the bill.
The crowd went wild.
Grew up not far from the famous Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ. It was in the next town over.
Many famous bands headlined there in the late 1960s/early 1970s.
Had lots of friends who went there, but I just never did.
When my husband passed away thing Kenny Rodgers song became mine.
