I always prefer pure cane sugar. Not high-fructose corn syrup. If you can find it.
Several, newer natural sweeteners that don’t raise glycemic/blood sugar levels.
Swerve.
Allulose.
Monk fruit.
Bummer about the food meal :-(
We’re avoiding grains, so….no need for one, for now. If SHTF, I’ll have to use the KA grinder :- /
