I always prefer pure cane sugar. Not high-fructose corn syrup. If you can find it.
We have cut out all sugars and grains from our diet....for many months, now.
NOT an easy lifestyle, for sure. But...we’ve adjusted.
(Hubby did cheat and have the homemade ice cream, w/cane sugar, yesterday....first time, in months!)
His arthritis/joints, as well and autoimmune issues have all but disappeared.
I primarily use Swerve and allulose, for any sweeteners we need. (Mostly, right at first.) The weight loss has been a bonus. We weren’t overweight, but, we do like the way our clothes are fitting, much better, now. Of course, his weight dropped much faster ๐ ๐ MEN :)
I guess that’s why things that have pure cane sugar in them advertise it.
