I got really lucky, the gravel guy didn’t notice. For some reason he really wanted to check out the concrete pad that the shop will be on. Must be a guy thing. So he was on the other side of his great big truck.

Unfortunately yesterday I picked a whole bunch of green beans that I needed to blanch and freeze. And I bought some ground beef that was reduced, so that needs to be done today. I did okay with the green beans, surprisingly. So I think the rest will be doable as well.

Thank you for all your sweet words and concern! You guys are the best. I think I also have the best neighbors. The lady neighbor called to tell me that a tree was down in my driveway. When she found out that hubby was gone, her husband cut it up with his chainsaw and moved it so I could get out of the driveway. While he was doing that the FedEx guy showed up so his wife signed for a package. And then they brought it up the driveway, and he carried it all the way to the garage, and it looked really heavy. I don’t know what hubby bought but could it be a huge box of expensive jewelry? That would probably be heavy. But I bet it’s tools or something.

You are too cute! Love it!

Bubba just brought us a cage so hubby could TRY to trap the pesky ground squirrel.

I've been dying to show him a picture of OUR kitty.

He thought he was beautiful.

I told him all about your being a foster parent for pregnant kitties and the cute little babies, that you had kept one from each litter.

You should post him some pictures on FB, he'd love that.

So glad you didn't do too much damage when you took your fall and are able to carry on with your chores.

Glad you're okay!
That sounds like a bad fall.

I fell at work awhile back from a spill and my knee still hurts.
We all fall but we always seem to injure our hands or knees to keep from breaking our hips!
At least in my occasional falls!

“I think I also have the best neighbors.”

I wish I had good neighbors. I have let most of my neighbors know that my husband had passed away, but they never come over to see how I am doing or if I need anything. The neighbor right next door is the music director for a church. Washington people just keep to themselves. We had more interaction with our neighbors when we lived in California.

I can just see you tumbling over that log. Good to hear you didn’t get injured.
