Our minds are going a mile a minute as they say. We aren't like our grandparents that cleaned the dinner dishes and we knew we couldn't eat anymore that night. They would then go out on their porches or yards and sit and rest for the night. Went to bed early and got up early. OUR patterns have greatly changed for most of us. We've forgotten how to rest.

No kidding, I remember my Granny sitting in her rocker with her apron on and then saying I am going to go make a couple apple pies, gone for 15 minutes at the most.

I can’t even remember if I put the ingredients in or not, lol.

Friend said that just lay out all the measured ingredients first.
