Nice weather here, but I’m not bragging just thankful. They have a boat parade here later, can view boats before parade. Will have music, etc.

One duck has it out for one hen. Yesterday I chased the duck that was chasing the hen with a stick, round and round trees. Finally got his attention. Went out later, and the ducks were just laying out under the trees. They just looked at me, I pointed my finger at them and told them I was watching them.

We used to have parades and celebrations at a private beach in Michigan, a lot of patriots back then, a lot I knew have since died.

I mentioned here the other day my waitress thanked me for looking at her and even smiling when I talked. We had a long conversation on people. (long by the example of time a waitress spends at a table). We talked about the need for prayer in schools/how people ALL over the world are as me and her wanting what's best for our family. War is wrong when people want the same things in life.

She told me they had a business but she still had three jobs in order to pay the bills. I didn't mention anything about her looks...it didn't hit me until after our talk. I'm 99% sure she came here from Mexico within perhaps the last ten or so years ago. Our town welcomed in many Mexicans in hopes of having our town continue to be Democrat. Our election is rigged here but when they make a mistake it goes red as it should. Now Democrats run on both sides to correct any of their mistakes.

Now to get back to the subject. Our town in the past 15 or so years, has become strong in supporting the private schools here. Once empty churches are now filled with lots of the once Mexicans. Yes, some sent money home and some went back home. But the Ones here have made our poor town much stronger. What I'm getting around to say is....when the war happens here I'm not counting out the Mexicans being on our side. Good people are Good People whereever they live.

There are some common misconceptions about the 🇷🇺🇺🇦 war that I feel the need to clarify.

Namely what Russia’s objectives are and how this affects their military behavior and strategy.

This war is not just about taking land, it’s about complete demilitarization of the Ukrainian regime. After the war is over, Russia do not want NATO to have this military proxy with all this weaponry capable of advancing into Russia. They want to deplete NATO of their resources and eliminate the potential of the Ukrainian military posing any threats to their future security.

This is why Russia are content to move methodically, and allow Ukraine to continue to advance into Russian entrenched positions where they can destroy the NATO equipment from a superior defensive position.

Once all the NATO equipment is neutralized and the Ukrainian army dwindled to nothing, Russia can claim all the land they like, without opposition. Many 🇺🇦 supporters claim Russia are not winning because they are not advancing. The same 🇺🇦 supporters are happy to report a few square miles of advances into grey zone, at the cost of 15k+ men and billions in weapons and vehicles.

So long as Ukraine are willing to suicidally charge into Russia’s fortifications, Russia will gladly sit and chip away at the Ukrainian forces and inflict unsustainable losses.

If the status quo remains, Russia’s victory is guaranteed. Ukraine/NATO cannot continue this counter-offensive militarily, but Biden and Zelensky refuse to take the loss politically if they were to admit the highly publicized counter-offensive failed.

So those saying the war is in a “stalemate” are flat out incorrect. Russia are winning because Zelensky/Biden continue to malevolently send tens of thousands of men into the slaughter, in an attempt to ensure they are re-elected and retain power.

Starlit, I do think it is wise to try and find out what really is true and what is not before we pass it on to others. I know it is becoming harder and harder to find the truth though.

I have posted things in the past that sounded great, and turned out to be completely unfounded, and I appreciated being informed about it. I didn’t mean to pass on something untrue, as I’m sure you didn’t as well. You’re right though.....so much nonsense has been out there for years. It’s getting old. Heck, the other day I read something I really hoped was true....Rush Limbaugh is still alive! Now that would be wonderful!

If you can’ get TS on computer what is it telling you?

Could it be your browser or anti-virus?

As for not getting pictures someone on another thread was having that problem and someone suggested clearing browser history and it worked for them.
