IT'S FIRE SEASON! This fire and 5 others was caused by a woman pulling a trailer with a flat tire that was shooting out sparks into the weeds along the highway.
5 of the fires were extinguished quickly but this one has burned more than 700 acres.
It has closed one of the main highways off the mountain.
It's about 30 miles from where I live.

I remember seeing road fires set from cars stopped on the side of the highway, during out last bad drought.
Nothing like these pics/damage, of course, but....it can happen so quickly, with the dry grasses/trees.
700 acres....that’s awful. :-(
