That claim is often made but never substantiated. Do you have a Gates quote to that effect?

“First, we’ve got population,” he said during the talk organized by TED, a non-profit organization devoted to spreading ideas. “The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15 percent. But there, we see an increase of about 1.3.”

“reproductive health services” ... so is what that was saying use abortion to curb population growth ... that’s usually what reproductive health services entails.

“health care” ... some countries are now using euthanasia to rid their society of mentally ill people and babies with birth defects. Maybe that will work on old people. If they get sick, just deny them medical care.

I believe the elite billionaires like Gates would be OK with depopulating the world. Remember Obama’s mentor:

“The thing the most bone chilling thing Bill Ayers said to me was that after the revolution succeeded and the government was overthrown, they believed they would have to eliminate 25 million Americans who would not conform to the new order,” said Larry Grathwohl, a former FBI agent.
