In the early 90s, Etheridge stole Lou Diamond Phillips' wife Julie Cypher. The two woman later "had" two children with the DNA of David Crosby. Later, around 2000, they were marital trouble and went into couples' therapy.

In therapy, Julie Cypher discovered she isn't really a lesbian, she's straight. (I think they were together eight or nine years) That must have been an awkward conversation.

That reminds me: In my first job out of college I rented a room in a house that someone from my town was also renting a room in it. I later found out that the senior tenants were a lesbian couple.

Except, one of the women who rented another room worked with one member of the lesbian couple. It turns out she was married and had a kid with a man, but she got hooked on drugs and it ruined her marriage. But all she ever talked about was how she was going to get back together with her ex-husband, and live happily ever after. (He was already remarried.)

So, apparently, she was straight all along, she was just pretending to be lesbian to use other woman.
