Numbers don't lie, and in this case they paint a very grim picture indeed. With a budget of almost $300 Million that Lucasfilm are prepared to admit to, Indy 5 has a virtually impossible hill to climb at the box office.

Yep. Last movie I saw in the theater was avengers end game. Took my kids, they wanted to go. Hadn’t seen any for years before. I pretty much don’t watch many movies now. Did see Renfeld on the Tele with nick cage. That was pretty fun. And again my son wanted to watch it. I enjoyed some of the scenes of Dracula not enjoying the tainted liberals renfeld brought home.

I agree with Harrison Ford being too old now. Time to kill him off in the last movie. Chris Pratt doesn't have enough charisma. Chris Pratt? Not enough charisma? Have you seen the Guardians movies? He clearly has enough.

Hilarious. Loved it. Cage was his usual over-the-top self.

Yeah, the CGI gratuitous destruction is silly. They never point out that 10’s of thousands of people would be dead.

Indiana Jones is a WWI Vet!
Time to pass the archeological daring-do torch to someone else. Michigan Mike or something.

A lot of movies these days are painful to watch.

I just avoid them altogether.

The only Nicholas Cage movie I’ve seen was “The Rock” and I saw it basically for Sean Connery....

I’ll pass on a movie about broken down failure of Indy, divorced, dead son, miserable - only to have the Feminist of Doom show up and outdo him in everything. To include knocking him out with one punch near the end.

No telling what WB spent on “The Flash” . So far it’s only earned $125 million world wide.

They could make the Flash so much better if they just used the same slo mo speed effects that Marvel does with quicksilver. Too much lightning and other unneeded stuff when Flash goes superspeed.

So this film has got to make $600-$700 million to even see a breakeven point which means it probably needs to gross worldwide at least over $1 billion to see any kind of return whatsoever. And we don’t know what kind of back in deal Harrison Ford they have on this. This guy is right they have an extreme uphill road to drive to make any money on this movie.

I liked the National Treasure movies. World Trade Center was pretty good. I hated Raising Arizona. That's all I have seen of his.

>Out of curiosity I looked it up. Harrison Ford is 80! <

And when does this new film take place because the character backstory of Henry “Indiana” Jones was born in 1899 and fought as a Captain for the Belgian Army in WWI.

Looks like it takes place in 1969 so 80-year old Harrison Ford would be playing 70-year old Indiana Jones.

Drive Angry and Gone in 60 seconds are fun.

For an actor who could look Harrison like if playing the 40s / 50s era, I nominate the guy who played Homelander.

They still have the rights to a lot of material they can ruin by doing remakes, I can see woke redos of “Treasure Island” with a Tranny Capt. Silver and his gay protege Jim Hawkins, “”Swiss Family Robinson where a European family ruins a remote jungle Island by introducing civilization to the noble race of headhunters living there also there are underlying problems of a sexual nature between family members, “20,000 leagues under the sea” tensions rise under the Ocean between rough “Seman”, “Chitty Chitty Gang Bang” Bro's in the Hood steal a magic Motorcar and have adventures in Suburbia, The stories will write themselves. Have at it

I like Jeremy Renner, He was great in “Wind River” and “Hurt Locker” , He gets run over by a 10,000 lb snow plow and is still kicking.
