In fact, the UMC is currently on the edge of schism and though you have tons of time to count Russian, (or as you would write, "RuZZian,") bodies in the Youcrayne war and publish massive amounts of pro-Youcrayne propaganda and "news" from questionable sources, you have never posted articles or commentary on the UMC debacle on FR or spoken out against the homosexual takeover of the Church in public.

Why not?

Though you call for and celebrate the deaths of Russians in a war 5,000 miles from you and give opinions as if you're an expert on the war, you remain silent over an issue you are very, very close to and should be commenting on.

Three weeks ago, on a thread directly about that infiltration of the UMC by homosexual activists, I addressed a series of questions on it directly to you . My questions were met with silence on your part. Why?

Now, before you dive for the "abuse" button to once again ignore the Blue Whale in the room by having my comment removed by "the mods," why not instead take a public stand, right here on FR, against the massive evil occurring in the UMC in which you state you are a minister?

It's in this context that I read about the latest move by the Ukrainian government, which is particularly heinous.

Ukrainian MPs have voted to abandon the Orthodox tradition of celebrating Christmas on January 7 in another move aimed at burning cultural bridges with Russia.

On Friday, several Ukrainian lawmakers announced that the national parliament supported changing the dates of three state holidays, including Christmas, which will now be observed on December 25 in accordance with Western Catholic and Protestant traditions.

The move was initially proposed last month by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who argued that it would help “abandon the Russian heritage…, reject Russian traditions, and fortify national unity in Ukraine.”

Only serious totalitarians try to destroy a 1,000 year old religious tradition. And: it is not the only or even the worst offense against the Ukrainian Orthodox believers.

It's shocking that Reverend Mother is supporting a man who is probably the most anti-Christian leader the West has seen in many decades.
